Regents Capital Expands National Sales Team to Support Growth
Costa Mesa, CA, August 3, 2022 - Regents Capital, a leading provider of equipment leasing and financing solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of their sales division, adding Matthew Brown as National Sales Director and Mike Miller, Mike Horner, Steve Pierson, Gerald LaPorta and Mathew Hennings as National Account Managers.

Matthew Brown brings over 30 years’ experience in equipment finance to his role as Regents Capital’s National Sales Director, including key positions with Hitachi Medical, EMC, NetApp, Mitsubishi, Bank of the West, and Silicon Valley Bank. Matt brings immense expertise to the firm with a strong background in healthcare, IT, high tech and software financing.
Steve Pierson, National Account Manager, has over 30 years of experience in equipment finance. Before joining Regents Capital, he held sales positions with GATX, GE Capital, and Wheeler Financial by Pitney Bowes Bank. Pierson has significant knowledge in aerospace & defense manufacturing along with construction and transportation.
Mike Horner, National Account Manager, joins the company with 31 years of industry experience and deep understanding of lease and finance products with the manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and transportation industries. Horner has held sales roles at Wells Fargo Equipment Finance, CitiCapital, and Wheeler Financial by Pitney Bowes Bank.
Mike Miller, National Account Manager, brings over 25 years of experience to this role with extensive knowledge in healthcare finance as well as software, and furniture/fixture financing. Before joining Regents, Miller held sales and management positions with Hitachi Medical, DVI, KeyBank, Bank of the West, and Huntington National Bank.
Gerald LaPorta, National Account Manager, has over 22 years of experience in equipment finance. Before joining Regents Capital, he held sales positions at Navistar Financial (International Trucks), Mack/Volvo Financial Services, and People’s Capital and Leasing Corp. LaPorta has significant knowledge in truck, trailers, and yellow iron equipment financing.
Mathew Hennings, National Account Manager, joins the company with 15 years of industry experience and deep knowledge within industrial racking, material handling, manufacturing, and project management. Hennings has held sales roles at CG Commercial, Partners Capital, and VFI Corporate Finance.
