Remembering Larry Rudnick
Several NEFA members have shared their thoughts regarding long time friend, colleague and a key member of EAEL, Larry Rudnick, who has recently passed.
Larry was the consummate success- he was a well-respected and successful attorney. He was active in the equipment leasing industry for more than 25 years including as a beloved member of EAEL. Larry’s legal acumen and abilities encompassed sophisticated litigation and business law issues- happily sharing and mentoring along the way. His attention to detail and his clients are the gold standard.
Larry was also a generous man who would give credit before he would take credit. A man who genuinely cared about how people felt, he was interested in everyone, made sure everyone felt included in conversation and gatherings. It was clear that this interest in colleagues extended well beyond legal and office matters. He made sincere efforts to get to know us, his colleagues, to know our interests, our families. His humor, wry wit, and understated quip were always sources of levity and sheer entertainment.
His family invariably came up in conversation, and it did not take long to realize the overarching importance Larry attached to his family and the intense pride and joy he drew from them. It was a joy to witness the absolute adoration he had for his wife, Beth, who he would often cite as the absolute and loving authority for some point that he wanted to make about life or what was happening in the world. Later in life it was delight to hear the unparalleled joy he would exude about his grandsons.
The void he leaves is wide and heartfelt.
